In the heart of the southern Caribbean, southeast of Puerto Rico, the islands of Antigua and Barbuda can be described as an exotic and tropical paradise.  You can literally go to a different beach every day of the year and you would still be on the Island of Antigua!

Getting married is relatively easy, and there are plenty of resources to plan the big event.  Barefoot on a white sand beach or under a gazebo at a tropical resort, you can find the place of your dreams in this Island paradise.  Before the ceremony, your guests will enjoy these twin Caribbean islands are a virtual playground with every water sport known to man.  Or, if it is your pleasure, shop, ride horseback or simply relax and soak up some Caribbean rays.

Marriage Requirements

It is recommended that you utilize a wedding planner who is familiar with marriage requirement on Antigua and Barbuda. Both the bride and groom need valid passports and if either has been divorced they will need the original divorce decree.  If either was widowed, they will need the original marriage and death certificates.  All documents must be originals or certified by the issuing department.  You must have two or more witnesses to the ceremony.  The marriage application can be completed at the Ministry of Justice office, where the applicable fees are paid as well.
