There are 333 islands that make up Fiji where you can find some of the friendliest people on earth to help you plan a wedding of your tropical dreams.  Calm lagoons, exquisite sunsets, brief warm rain showers, and daily sunshine and crystal blue waters surround you in this South Pacific paradise.

Fiji is one of the places that you can have an entire island to yourself to get married, and the pace of life can make it one of the most relaxed experienced of your life.  You can choose a traditional Fijian wedding with warriors, costumed attendants and decorated traditional rafts or have a traditional western ceremony and many packages are available. Wedding facilities in Fiji range from tropical beach settings, idyllic wedding chapels, traditional thatched wedding ‘bures’, beautiful local churches ,specially adorned boats and even underwater locations!

  • Weather:         Fiji enjoys a mild tropical climate and while it can get hot in the summer, it seldom reaches above 96° F.  In the late afternoon and early evening, trade winds and showers bring cooling.  The rainy season is from December through February.

To get married in Fiji you must apply for a marriage license from the nearest marriage registry 36 hours before the ceremony.  Required documentation includes: Valid passport, original birth certificates, divorce decree or death certificate (if previously married). Two witnesses who are 21years of age and over must sign the marriage certificate.
