St. Vincent and the Grenadines is made up of 32 islands in the Eastern Caribbean and is known as the “Land of the Blessed, an appropriate place to begin your married life together!   The islands can described as tranquil and beautiful with white sand beaches and crystal blue water.

St Vincent is the most northern island of the chain, and is distinguished by its mountainous interior.  The Grenadines comprise 17 square miles and includes Bequia, Canouan, Mayreau, Tobago Cays, Palm Island, Petit St. Vincent and Union Island.  On a map, St. Vincent appears like a kite with the other islands the tail.  The diving off of these islands is outstanding and walking through the rain forest is a must as well!

Marriage Requirements

We recommend that you work with a wedding coordinator who is familiar with the marriage requirements of St. Vincent and the Grenadines to be sure that you comply with their process.  There is a one day residency requirement to be married in St Vincent & the Grenadines.  A special license, which is valid for 3 months, is available from the Ministry of Justice.  Required documents include:  passport, and death or divorce decrees if previously married.
